TESTIMONIALS

It deeply resonated with me that these guys, these people who I really look up to who made things I really love, we’re once in the same place that I am - just a kid, I have no Hollywood connections and I am in the middle of nowhere and I just want to be making stuff… Let’s do it - Ok this is the push - I am on the right path - it can happen…

It was what I expected and more…. I didn’t realize the gravity of what went on behind the scenes with internal conflicts. What leaps and hurdles they had to go through…. My mind was blown I couldn’t believe what I was reading - that is true dedication. I would recommend this to anyone…

I have read it twice… When I read it for the second timeI had just started an on-line film course, so I was going back through my books and thought I should read it again. I have Spike, Mike, Slackers and Dykes and other indy film books, but Shpadoinkle is my favorite.

-Reagan Hatch

Wow, I wish I had this book when I was in high school when I started making videos… Because there is so much information in it.

-Ry Guy

I read it in 3 hours! I loved it and couldn’t put it down when it was 12am…. I have already told my best friend about it…. Even if you are not into film it makes you feel inspired.

I am always interested in behind the scenes and fun facts, I love everything Trey and Matt do, I started with South Park and then began discovering all the other stuff… From the beginning you can see how talented they had… It took me a couple days to read this book because I couldn’t put it down.

OUR HISTORY

Originally a student of music, director Trey Parker transferred from the prestigious Berklee School of Music to Colorado University at Boulder to study film, and it was there he gave birth to his twisted brainchild "Alferd Packer: The Musical". Parker not only wrote, produced, directed and played the leading role in the film, he also wrote the songs and collaborated on the score.
